Snoopdogg news plus 4 vids

Snoop Dogg

Snoopdogg is the doggfather of the hiphop world he has his hand in almost everything and it always turns into $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ loadsa $$$$$$$$$$$$$

Hip Hop veteran and West-Coast legend Snoop Dogg recently talked about fellow rappers T.I. and Lil Wayne having to put down the microphone and spend time in prison. Snoop thinks that artists should be smarter in their crimes. "Rappers going to jail is like athletes using steroids: It's gonna happen. [But] I feel like the rappers that are getting caught up in going to jail don't have anybody going 'ay, we ain't going there. That ain't going happen tonight.' It's them in control until they lose control. I say to all the rappers out there that's getting caught up in trouble: just be a little smarter, a little slicker. You just gotta know how to move."

In related news, Snoop Dogg recently appeared on the The Jimmy Fallon show where he got into the Christmas spirit by performing things like reading "How The Grinch Stole Christmas." [Snoop Dogg - Performs "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" On Jimmy Fallon - Watch Here] In further related news, Snoop recently talked about never wanting to retire, last decade verses the current and giving back to the community

Diddy talks about trying to sell drugs-

Sean Combs
Hip Hop Mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs recently talked about his youth in which he attempted to sell drugs. "Some of my friends were selling drugs in the Maryland and (Washington) D.C. area. I remember them having all this jewellery and new BMWs. I was eating ramen noodles, stealing from the 7-Eleven to get some food. “I thought, ‘I need to get some money like y’all have.’ So I go out on the block, the strip where they’re selling drugs, and my man says, ‘OK, I’m going to give you this. You wait there. They’ll come up to you.’ "I’m out there five minutes when three cop cars pull up and officers jump out and start chasing me. I ran and got away," Diddy tells in a new interview with Playboy.

50 Cent was at the AMA '09 for a surprise performance with Eminem. Watch them behind the scenes like you've never seen them before and rehearsing "Crack A Bottle" 50 Cent's new album

eminem has been crowned champion of the charts - the rapper has beaten the Beatles to be named America’s best-selling artist of the decade.

Figures released by Nielsen SoundScan, the company which compiles the Billboard charts, have revealed the top 10 best-selling albums since 2000. And even though the Beatles landed the number one spot by shifting more than 11 million copies of their hit record 1, Eminem scored two albums in the top 10 - handing him the title of best-selling artist.

The decade’s second biggest seller was No Strings Attached by Justin Timberlake’s now-defunct boy-band ’N Sync, which was just 387,000 copies short of matching the Beatles.(watch 50cent and eminem behind the scenes)

jay-z and Nas plus drake got perfect track

Jay-Z on the stump for Barack Obama visits the...
Beanie addresses jay-z and nas collab-
Jay-Z still hasn’t made any mention of the venom Beanie Sigel’s been spitting about him, but there is a rumor that Jigga’s making moves by teaming up with Nas for a remix of “Empire State of Mind.” Beanie’s expecting Jay to use Nas to go at him because, implies Beans, Jay never fights his own battles. “He put Nas on the record hoping that a n*gga will respond to it and come at Nas. Nas gon’ come right back.

He’s not gonna hold no punches,” Beans said, adding that he used to do the same thing for Jay … specifically during Hova’s beef with Nas back in the day. “I’m not worried about Nas. I did that already. I did that already, in defense of [Jay]. I was there when dude was in the studio, on the couch, scratching his head under pressure.” Beanie adds that he knows he’s being a bully, but that he wants Jay to swing back because it’s just no fun if he doesn’t. Typical of a bully.

Dre & Warren G talks detox

The Chronic album cover
Dre talks detox hold up-
Dr Dre's "Detox" album is so highly-anticipated, it's almost become a myth but the good ol Doc made sure to let everyone know he's still working on the project. "You know what, I'm working hard on it man," Dre promised during an in-store interview. "I'm going and I'm stopping, I'm working with other artists in-between and what have you, but I'm working hard on it and the minute it's done and I feel it right here [in my chest] and it feels right to me, that's when it'll come out. And you know, hopefully at the beginning of the year."

Game, the newly-renewed Aftermath associate of Dre, recently talked about "Detox" and explained why fans should not worry about it taking a while. "Man, I can't even describe [2001]... I would just say it's a classic West Coast album but it was world-renowned and it had an international appeal, like who from where didn't f*ck with that album?," Game asked in an interview. "With 2001 he just went back to do what he do best man and that's just trying to create the sun, moon, stars and Earth in seven days, man. The thing that stands out to me about 2001 is the same thing that stood out to me about Chronic -- Dre is a perfectionist and no matter when he coughs up an album, B, they be exactly what you need. I know it seem like he be taking forever with these albums but if you think about the time that passed between the Chronic and 2001, I think Detox is just about due. So it's not about him just making us wait, it's his format."(click more to watch both interviews)

Jay-z on fuse

Jay-Z
As summer draws to a close, there can be little doubt that September belongs to one of hip hop's most successful entrepreneurs: JAY-Z. In addition to his stunning single "Run This Town" with Rihanna and Kanye West, he celebrated his 'The Blueprint 3' album with a one-night-only performance on September 11 at Madison Square Garden, broadcast live on Fuse.

NEW YORK - NOVEMBER 05: Recording artist 50 Cent (R) visits host Toure at fuse TV's 'On The Record' at fuse Studios on November 5, 2009 in New York City. From Getty Images.

Rapper 50 Cent has revealed that he would love to record a song with Britain’s Got Talent star Susan Boyle.

The star said that their collaboration would definitely be a hit and that he would also love to take her clubbing.

50 Cent told The Mirror: “Susan Boyle is hot right now. I got to get her on a track, for real. We’d make a hit.

“Everyone is talking about her, the lady from Britain’s Got Talent.

“She’s got an amazing voice, and together we’d get everyone dancing. I’m always looking to do something new and she’s cool, so I’ll ask somebody to let her know.”

He added: “I’d love to take her clubbing, show her around my world. She’d have a great time.”

Fuck the grammys-
50 Cent has declared that he has no interest in the Grammy Awards.

Despite having previously been nominated for several gongs at the event, the rapper has said that he has no plans to watch the 2010 ceremony.

"Man, f**k the Grammys!" he said. "I couldn't care less about the Grammy Awards."

Sizing up next year's event, the 34-year-old predicted: "It'll be the Beyoncé and Taylor Swift show.

"I guess they'll both be performing at the awards show, which means their record companies will be spending money to raise the production values of the entire show.

"And when you spend that kind of money you're supposed to get trophies."

50Cent "jay-z has king complex"

Recently 50 Cent was interviewed by Rolling Stone magazine in a feature about his "Before I Self Destruct" album in which the G-Unit leader continued his Jay-Z bashing by making some pretty blunt comments. When asked about Jay-Z not shooting a music video for "Big Spender" with Freeway, 50 resonded "He has a king complex, he thinks he’s fucking Jesus, you know what I mean? This J-Hova shit."

When asked why he think's Jay-Z hasn't responded to his jabs before, 50 said "I’d love for him to say something he’s not supposed to say about me. The difference is the last guy he competed with was Nas, and he lost. Nas just didn’t keep his business intact, and later had to submit and sign under him, so we couldn’t acknowledge that he beat him when they had to compete. I think he got a phobia from that. You know what the most vulnerable space for an artist is? Confusion. So if you think you’re the hottest rapper or the hottest artist, whenever you’re losing and everybody knows it, that could be a confusion point for you, right? That’s what he went through at that time. We don’t know what happens in the future, but we know the facts."

Snoop and Combs news

Combs day26 leaves bad boy records-
DIDDY handpicked on his TV show MAKING THE BAND 4 has left the hip-hop mogul’s record label.

Day26 was established on the programme in 2007 but, two years later, the five-piece is desperate to ditch their reality TV roots and establish themselves as artists in their own right – and they’ve quit Combs’ Bad Boy Records to find their own footing. Willie Taylor of Day26 tells The BoomBox, “Bad Boy is always our family, but we’re with Atlantic (Records) right now.

“We really want to get people focused on the artistry, on the music. I think a lot of people lost it with the entertainment of the show. So now, we really want to show people what we’re all about, that we do our thing whether it’s on stage, in the studio, writing and producing – we do it all.”

The group is planning to hit the studio in early 2010 to record their third album

Crunk Rock is the solo debut album by Atlanta based producer Lil Jon, originally scheduled for release in mid-2006, rescheuled for the end of 2007, then "sometime" in 2008. In November of 2007, he reported that the album was "65 percent, maybe 70 percent done"."Crunk Rock" is now to be released in the summer of 2009, as said on Lil Jon’s Myspace page. Were it all ended

If there is one big lesson that hip hop can teach you is that all good things must come to an end even if your selling millions of records and making millions of dollars in the process. If it isn’t working anymore, it just isn’t working. So in the wake of the whole Beanie Sigel/Jay-Z (now 50 Cent) thing, I decided to look up some high profile hip hop endings… and some of them will surprise you… and some of them you’ll probably see coming a mile away.

THE DIPLOMATS
Members: Cam’ron, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana just to name a few

In there hay day, The Diplomats had a real good run. They are possibly one of the last great hip hop groups to come out of New York City . The group was offically founded around 2002. They had their coming out party after rapper Cam’ron released his album Come Home With Me on Roc-A-Fella Records after actually signing with long time friend, who happened to be a Harlem native as well asDame Dash. The album sold over 220k in its first week and that also brought shine to Juelz Santana and Jim Jones who also had separate & major deals with labels such as Def Jam & Koch (anybody remember Koch)? Now with the ball rolling, they were able to grab a major deal and present their newest creation to the people in the form of Diplomat Records. They released 14 total records under the label, introducing us to rappers, Hell Rell, 40 Cal., J.R. Writer, and even giving us entertaining movies such as Killa Season, Paid in Full, along with cameos in State Property 2.
